Since there are no reviews, I thought I would share my thoughts. The good: See the specs. i7-4820HQ, 2x8 gb ram, up-gradable to 32gb total. AC 7265 WiFi. BT 4.0. The IPS 17.3" 1920x1080 screen is incredible. The GTX 965m is based on the new Maxwell GM204, not a re-badged GK104 Kepler. Build quality is second to none. Red back-lit keyboard. This is one of the few laptops that have a second, full sized 2.5" hard drive bay. After doing the upgrades below, this is the fastest laptop I have ever used. The bad: Slowest possible hard drive (5400 rpm) you can get. Heavier than most. Boot times are horribly slow. How to make it a five star laptop: Some computer knowledge is helpful. Proceed at your own risk. 1- Move the installed hard drive to the second hdd bay. Replace with an SSD in the 1st bay. Page 98 of manual. (5 minutes) 2a- Do a fresh install of Windows10 on the SSD. Mainly for gaming on the go which i never thought possible. With this machine I can play all games on ultra with a little tweaks here and there. Mostly just turn down or off the AA and I get a solid 75 fps with G-Sync on. G-Sync works fantastic and i have yet to see a screen tear with v-sync off. I got the machine with no SSD but a 1TB HD. The HD came in 2 main partitions of the OS (300 GB) and the other (500GB ish). I shrunk the OS partition but was unable to extend the other partition together for some reason.So far I've played: *All games were ran at the 1080p resolution. For mobile gaming I didn't expect anything higher. Additionally for gaming i always have it plugged in for highest performance possible.* Witcher 3 on Ultra 60-65 fps (no AA or Hairworks.) Bioshock Infinite on Ultra solid 70-75fps Dead Rising 3 on Ultra with frame rate unlocked 50-60 fps with no AA. This really wasn't...
