I certainly feel cheated. I have today received the Dell Inspiron 5559 Signature Edition 5000 Series Laptop (Ship date: October 26, 2016). This laptop contains a 6th generation Core i7 CPU and DDR3 memory running at 1600 MHz. The description on the webpage states "DDR4" memory.
The 'newest' 2017 Dell 5000 Series laptops contain 7th generation Core i7 CPU's and DDR4 memory running at 2133 MHz (Model 15-5567).
