This won't be an extensive review, however I wanted to point out a couple things that may help others that purchase this laptop.

The laptop came well equipped with an Intel i5 CPU (did not check model or generation), 8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for internet browsing/gaming and school work so it will be more than enough for what she needs.

When a laptop is sold as "Certified Refurbished" I expect to receive it in like-new condition. I don't mind a ding here or scratch there as that should be expected on a 5+ year old laptop, but it should also be clean and all consumables should be replaced with new parts.

I gave this laptop a 3-star rating for the following reasons:

- When I removed the bottom cover the fan was caked with dust and I had to clean it.

For the price, I think this a very good laptop.

Laptop: It came in really good shape. I'm always hesitant on buying used parts or whole systems. However I couldn't be more pleased. There is very little ware on the keys, touch-pad or any of the ports. I had read from other reviews that it was a gamble on the battery. I plugged it in while i did the installs and updates. Now that i'm typing this out and going through my settings, the battery has hardly budged.

Distributor: It arrived a day before the eta. And based on what I said above, they did a great job fixing this up for resale. All instructions on setup as well as contact info should you need the 90 day warranty were present and easy to flip through.

I'm very happy I decided to buy this.

Didn't expect greatness because it's refurbished but...
I got this strictly for job hunting, phonics for my nieces and for my sister to type papers.

1) PACKAGING/SHIPPING 5 stars
It arrived on time with no damages.

2)PHYSICAL APPEARANCE 3 stars
It was obviously used (pen marks) but no dents, cracks etc.

3) PERFORMANCE 1 Star
-Resolution was terrible. The initial startup the picture is sharp and the colors are rich but once you get to the homepage it starts to decline
-the keys were not configured properly (I select "?" and get "÷")
-Windows 10 wasn't installed as advertised, instead it had Windows 7. I was directed to update windows to have access to windows 10 but every time I tried it ended with a message telling me to update windows
