This is the 17t-n100 it has room for one SSD 850 EVO M.2 drive and two 2.5” hard drives.
This one comes only with one 2.5” 2-TB 4500 rpm drive which makes this computer run like a slug.
It is almost impossible to add the second 2.5” drive as there are NO parts to get.
It requires a mounting bracket that HP does not sell. They only sell a 1 inch long HDD ribbon cable for $75.
And you need to get the hard drive connector from Alibaba, china for a cost of $55 plus about $30 in DHL shipping.
newmodeus.com who sells hard drive installation kits sells a 2nd hard drive kit that replaces your CD Drive. That’s just lame
The only way to take advantage of the speed of what this computer can do is to order it with the SSD drive.
Then it will run like fox. Using the 2TB drive it takes about 2-3 minutes to boot, with the SSD drive it takes less than 30 seconds and all the software pops open WOW!

My ENVY m7-j120dx has an expensive mechanical failure around left hinge for the display. Reviewing the HP website forum I found over 8000 discussion threads, each involving many HP ENVY owners, remarking on failure of or around the "left hinge" for the display. Beware of your hinges if you don't know exactly what you have.

Constant pop ups saying the HD Graphics card not working properly. Now display driver not working correctly. I have used this computer for 2 days and it SUCKS, don't buy! And if you buy a computer here, make sure you get what you ordered, cause mine is a 17t-n000 not 17t-n100 as stated. I have argued with the people I bought from about it but it is what it is I guess. Just buyer BEWARE! TOTAL GARBAGE! Problems just get more and more!
