Out of the box this machine is barely usable. But once all updates are complete running 5 YouTube videos at once is no problem. Before you update, good luck getting YouTube to open. Still this computer doesn't feel like it has 4 gigs. But it does the job. To be honest my only issue with it is probably more about win10 then the hardware. Probably my fault; I should have looked at the processing speed first. Also, I didn't realize for a week or so that this particular laptop cannot receive the high-speed WiFi of 5Ghz. Only 2.4Ghz. That's extremely frustrating because my very old computer could. I can't imagine why HP would put out a computer that only receives the slower speed? And on top of it, HP calls it "High Performance Premium"! It also says "2016's Newest HP"; well, after looking at the specs it's a 2015... The built in mouse pad isn't very responsive so I tried to use an external mouse, actually 3 different ones. Sometimes it would recognize that you clicked and sometimes not. When it did work, a single click usually registered as a double click. Even with the built-in mouse it wouldn't always register clicks and you have to push quite hard. Don't waste your money on this one. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
