It has worked great as both a laptop and tablet. I have four computers and tablets and this is the fastest of all. It updates fast and there seems to be good support from Lenovo. I don't use it for heavy computing task but for web surfing and light computer use it's great. It is well built and very solid feeling. The only downside is that it's heavier than some of the higher priced ultra thin units out there but that's OK for me. Battery last about 6 hours. I purchased two units last year for my kids that break almost everything. They have worked very well. These units are "ruggedized" for educational/institutional use. They are a bit bulkier due to that, but can take some abuse as my kids have proven. They have been dropped more than a few times with just some scratches to show. Power Connector is large - about the size of a USB B , and can take some abuse. My kids constantly trip on the power cord ripping it out of the laptop and shockingly, it has not failed. The SSD (Solid State hard Drive) makes up for the lack of RAM and Processor. The 128GB Storage is acceptable in this cloud based world we are living in. They are not powerhouses, but can easily preform all the typical web based tasks a student will encounter including Minecraft. No Photoshop, 4k video editing or intensive PC gamming here. The laptop even works as a drawing tablet with optional Lenovo Stylus. The... This is a great on-the-go laptop--and at the time that I bought this, this was about the same price as a Chromebook, and it has full-blown Windows 10 on it, so this was a no-brainer for me. This thing is built like a tank. I found out why when I first unpacked the laptop--this is from Lenovo's "Education Series," so it's meant to take some punishment and abuse from kids. This is also one of the downsides to this laptop--this is a ruggedized version of Lenovo's regular Yoga laptops, which means it's also heavy and bulky. It's heavy when you're just carrying it around in a bag. It's heavier when you're trying to use it in tablet mode--to the point where, if you use this in tablet mode, you're going to want to keep it sitting on your desk or table. You're not going to be holding or handling a 3.5 lb laptop in tablet mode the same way you'd carry an iPad or other tablet. So why the five stars? Well--it's a perfectly fine...
