Bought this machine because my son said he needed a strong processor for handling music composition and some light developer work. One thing about this model is it has no built in NVidia graphics processor. This hurts you for gaming, but helps you if you only care about media processing, and also will save you some watts since the added component won't eat you up, since all graphics will be coming from the internal Intel graphics module built into the main processor.

Solid construction, beware of Ultrabooks that have poor case construction or cheap glass. Two areas that compromises are made.
