Look elsewhere or purchase with expectation of issues., July 16, 2017 Not for Business Users. Heed the warnings of myself and others. Look elsewhere or purchase with expectation of issues. I should have listened to the stories but since I did not heed the warning of others, here is my review to perhaps to provide warning or help you with your purchasing decision. I purchased this system for one reason, form factor with capability of occasionally gaming. I purchased this laptop primarily for business use because it had a TPM which allows me to take advantage of Bitlocker in Windows to encrypt my drive. I occasionally travel internationally and want the ability to game and not lug around my gaming laptop for the trip. I read the reviews as you are now and took note of the myriad of reviews indicating multiple issues: -Critical Hardware Failures within First Year -Poor Support -Screen Issues Some people say the laptop is great and I often found their reviews were posted very soon after purchase... I noticed this while I had the device in a meeting, and simply thought maybe the plug in the room wasn't working - so didn't think it was that big of a deal. However, the AC adapter light was still green - so power was technically flowing to the system. I did some research online and found that this is a known issue, experience by tons of users - Razer even has a full... This is NOT a cheap purchase, as a customer, you've spent time and money on a laptop you expect to last you for a while. If your laptop STOPS working after 7 DAYS - with no spills, no falls, nothing, and Razer tells you that it's a motherboard issue - that itself warrants a huge apology.
If it takes Razer more than 2 weeks to tell you that they DO NOT HAVE ANY MOTHERBOARDS LEFT - that is unacceptable. I don't need any heartache in my life, and I certainly don't need to have my time wasted, after I've spent $2000+ on a faulty laptop.
