I've owned Toshiba laptops for years and just recently purchased this computer (Satellite C55-C5381) and the Satellite C55-C5380. (I do research for months before purchasing anything for user reviews and prices.) Both are fantastic. The i7 makes the computer noticeably faster than the i5 but both are quite fast. This is a great computer and for the money beats out most brands and models. Toshiba has only gotten better and if you do research into any laptops HP and Dell are seen the most for problems. The Toshiba and Asus laptops consistently are the best. Fantastic computer and I wouldn't trade them for anything else.

(I do wish it had a back light for the keyboard but other than that its phenomenal.)

wifi connection is poor it keeps getting disconnected that i have to click internet troubleshoot all the time when the wifi gets disconnected.
