I have this laptop, there are several outstanding points that I want to share with you guys:
1. the CPU, AMD Quad-Core A10-8700P Processor, is more than enough for executing computationally intensive tasks,
2. the 12gb memory works terrifically well and I'd really appreciate the speed it offers,
3. The 1TB hard drive and other equipment are among the best compared with the ones at the same price level

Overall, I like this new generation of Toshiba so much and cannot say more on it.

Highly recommend it to you!

I bought mine on sale online at Walmart, but the new AMD Carrizo A10 in this thing is a step in the right direction for AMD. High ram, great audio from Skull candy. Only two cons: basic screen quality, nothing special, and keyboard is beautiful (back-lit) but the plastic around the keys bows easy and is flimsy. Outside of those it's everything I want in a mid-range laptop

I really like this laptop so far. Still getting used to Windows 10, but it's not as bad as so many have claimed it is. The second desktop feature is already one of my favorite features! It did update almost as soon as I turned it on which took about 20 minutes. The only con I've found so far is that the underside (if it's on your desk and you run your finger along the desk up to the laptop) is pretty sharp. I'm a transcriptionist and it sounds really good (with the Spectra USB headphones the volume hasn't been over 50 and Express Scribe the volume is not even at half) Overall, it looks really nice and works great!

Also, if you turn off sending updates to others nearby or in your network it is much faster. Here are the steps in case anyone is wondering:

Click OFF
