Pros: Excellent graphics performance. Comfortable keyboard. No bloatware. Doesn't get hot. Cons: Sound volume at maximum is still not very loud. Okay battery life. Verdict: ASUS ROG strix offers excellent gaming performance in a stylish chassis with around 4 hours of battery life. Design: The Asus is an attractive laptop that is about twice the thickness of a Thinkpad (see pics) but is still light and portable. There is a red Asus logo light on the back of the cover and the stereo speakers are red on the front of the case. The keyboard is chiclet style but works well. I wish it was a mechanical keyboard but can't complain for the price. The mousepad is standard for a gaming laptop and works well. Display: The display is HD and has a wide viewing angle but is still gets dim at the edges.
