The best things about them have always been the KEYBOARD and solid BUILD QUALITY. Was honestly not expecting too much from this machine due to the low price, but was happily surprised. The keyboard feel is very close to that of a high-end Lenovo Windows laptop and the build quality feels top-notch. The touchpad is also very responsive and has an excellent feel to it. My first Chromebook was an ASUS C200, now nearly 3 years old. This Lenovo is a much more rugged machine, but only slightly heavier. It also has an IPS screen which means you don't have to be looking at it head-on. The touch screen is very responsive and will be handy with Android Apps, which hopefully are coming to it soon. A few other observations: - This review is for the Yoga 11e (flip), 3rd gen (2017) version. Seems to be model confusion among some... So far I have been very happy with it. The keyboard feels good, the screen is bright and clear when watching video, the battery only takes about 90 minutes to charge but lasts around 8 hours on use, and the laptop does not seem to slow down when I have multiple tabs open. I would recommend this laptop for anyone wanting a Chromebook. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Great for the internet, April 19, 2017 This review is from: 2017 Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11.6 Inch Convertible HD IPS Multitouch Chromebook, Intel Quad Core Processor 1.6 GHz, 4GB RAM, 16GB SSD, HDMI, Bluetooth, 802.11ac, USB 3.0, HD Webcam, Chrome OS (Personal Computers) This Chromebook has been everything I hoped for. I found that most of my computing needs were web based (email, YouTube, websites). I decided to go with a Chromebook since I have been using Google for a lot of different things including docs. I chose the Lenovo after trying my daughter's school issued N22 Chromebook. I like the way the screen flips to sit like a tablet. The 11.6" screen is not too small. This chromebook is marked as an education series but works well for anyone and seems a little sturdier than other laptops. I use Google Drive a lot and find it suitable for an office suite. If I had to find a con it is that fingerprints do show up on the cover. |
