But, prices very wildly, from $150 and up... and up... so check prices carefully. Having 4gb of RAM and 32gb of storage makes a big difference in performance compared with the Chromebook standard of 2gb of RAM and 16gb of storage. This is a Chromebook that goes beyond being a cheap laptop for students to being a high quality device for professionals who are traveling and who will benefit from its very light 2.5 pound weight and its nine hours of battery life. The keyboard is firm and crisp, the track pad is smooth and precise and documents look sharp on the screen. Some folks bring a $1,000 Apple laptop to a conference for taking notes. The Samsung will work equally well for taking notes and sending email at a fraction of the Apple price.
